Craft Room Ideas

Back in September, before leaving the UK in pursuit of my new adventure, I had the rather lovely treat of designing and shooting a Craft Room feature for Ideal Home‘s Jan issue {which is on sale now} I’ve been looking forward to sharing it because it was such a dream to pop together {and I’m missing my craft room at home right now – Instead my crafting activities these days take place on my living room floor!} I also thought I’d start to share with you the mood boards I pop together for all of my shoots. A bit of a “behind the scenes” so you can see how the shots you see on the pages of magazines come together.

    I wish I knew where that table was from in the picture above called the finished room. It would look great in my craft room.

      Hey Alyssa,

      The table was from Ikea – these were the legs, http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/40134427
      Then I got a plain table top also from Ikea and covered in in oilcloth which I think was either Cath Kidston or Greengate. Hope that helps

        I love your craft desk! How did you cover it with oil cloth? Did you use any kind of adhesive on the top or just wrap it and attach it on the bottom? Thanks!
