Monsoon Boutique Collection

Back in the summer I was really excited when Monsoon contacted me about shooting their new Homewares range. Not only did I know it would be beautiful but the concept behind their new Boutique Collection is great. The team at Monsoon are upcycling old fabric off cuts and turning them into trimmed buttons, cushions and bags. They are working with Fair trade producers and small-scale producers in India  to create striking designs, fabulous papers and stationary and much more. The aim being to create livelihoods for Artisan communities. What’s more is 100% of the profits go to The Monsoon Trust. Founded in 1994, the Trust helps disadvantaged women and children in Asia through education, healthcare and income generation projects.  So it’s style with a conscience. Here’s a look at the shots I styled, shot by the wonderful Mr Duchars

Working with product that’s so beautiful and with such a lovely story had the whole team feeling massively inspired – what a great and exciting project to be involved with, thanks Monsoon!

You can see all the items in the range here, and find out the individual stories behind the projects here.
