St David’s Day Inspiration

Hello 1st of March! Does this mean that spring is just round the corner, I really hope so because somebody is starting to miss the sunshine of Sydney ! It also means that it’s St David’s day so in honour of all things Welsh here are a few Welsh designers and makers…

So first up it’s Bodlon, patriotic sellers of contemporary Welsh wares including Keith Brymer Jones ceramics.

Lowri Davies and her beautiful illustrative bone china, along with a modern day take on the Welsh national dress.

I’m totally taken by Becky Adams’ whimsical stitched creations.

I’m sure you’ll of heard of Welsh textile mill Melin Tregwynt, they create traditional Welsh designs with striking colour.

Last but by no means least it’s By Kirsty who up-cycles vintage pieces with fabric..delicious!

Happy St David’s Day my friends!
