Rescue & Revamp

It’s slightly ironic that I’m posting about this today seeing as it’s been pouring down since I woke this morning, but still I’m dreaming of Summer and the rest of the week looks sunny so fingers crossed I’ll get to use my new chairs. Chairs that back at the beginning of the year I made Simon rescue from the bins by our apartment {much to his protest!} The chairs started off looking like this…

and after a few coats of paint and some fabulous new deckchair fabric from Ici et la, they look like this…

oh and the balcony underwent a bit of a transformation with some fake turf from good old Bunnings! Hopefully at the weekend I’ll get to sit out there and enjoy them! x
