Love Tapestry

While hunting for frames in charity shops this weekend I came across this little piece of yester year. Simon wasn’t convinced when I pulled this from among a pile of dusty old frames , but I told him tapestry is no longer just the hobby of Grandmas {and I may have used the line….”trust me I’m a stylist”!}

Funky tapestries just keep popping up everywhere. Isn’t this gorgeous? I found it via The Red Thread Blog

How cute are these cushion kits? I love the idea of having a go, but I’m pretty sure it will be another of those projects that I’ll start and never quite finish. Goes without saying that I love the Union Jack {Courtesy of the fabulous Rockett St George}and who can resist a bit of circus font? Not me! Emily Peacock’s cushions may have been around for a while now but I’m hooked! and love the folksy feel of her latest addition “Beautiful”

Rockett St George’s Needlepoint loveliness doesn’t end there. If like me you don’t fancy your chances at having a go yourself then this wall hanging, it’s handmade {by someone else!}.

I also noticed that it was shot by the lovely Max Attenborough {if you haven’t already check out his work here}

    I do love the wall hanging, and the floor cushion…if only I could sew!

    I know – the joy of the wall hanging is that you don’t have too! but you could pretend!
