Crafty Gifts

As a kid my favourite gifts we’re always the ones that you had to make yourself. The ones that brought out my creative side, like those foil prints where you had to use different scratching techniques to “Sketch” a horse or where you stitched yourself a slightly questionable looking guinea pig – do you remember the ones? Thankfully little crafting kits have come along way since the 80’s. So here’s a few last min crafty gift ideas:

As a fan of Rob Ryan I’m loving his ClothKits designs that come complete with all you need to make either a couple of seriously stylish cushions or a gorgeous bag, and you have until noon on the 23rd Dec to receive your order by Christmas

If like me you haven’t been quite as organized as you’d of hoped on the gift front why not Download a pattern, print it out and pop together your own kit. All you need is a little box and a few fabric scraps and some yarn, what a cute gift

How lovely are these little fella’s from Retro Mama, all you need to do is buy the pattern and download, too easy!

The pattern for these little guys is free to download from here on the fabulous Button Bag website, perfect for a stocking filler.

Or how about some wall art from quilting queen Amy Butler. This download is free too, so not only creative but also super thrifty!
