The Shop At Number 57 {Coming Soon}

So I hinted at it in my post last week but Simon and I are now heading towards the final stages {fingers crossed!} of our forthcoming online homewares store The Shop At Number 57. You may have noticed the little button to the right – it’s been there sometime now but then our little store has been a long time in the making. My hat goes off to all those little independent stores out there, who’d of thought that setting up a tiny online shop could be so very time-consuming? As with most things in my life I tend to calculate things in the magic measurement of shoot time {where amazing things are pulled together in days} rather than “real time” where dealing with suppliers, manufacturers and fitting in around”propper work” all takes time…so much time.

Any way although we still huge “To Do” list to plough through we are finally on the home straight {we hope}. This week lots of exciting parcels have been arriving. Our postcard designs came back from the printers; our labels arrived from the weavers and some of our packaging has arrived. We even packed up our first press loan for the lovely Ali Bradshaw and Country Homes & Interiors magazine which is all very exciting. Next week I’m teaming up with photographer Max Attenborough to shoot all of the products for the website so it’s all finally coming together, we hope to launch at the beginning of March.
